Consultation rooms in clinics
Drug key for clinics
• Rubbish will be collected from ‘dirty utilities’ on Levels 2 and 4
• The labels on the hem state what type the curtain is. When one is taken down you need to ensure it is replaced with the same type of curtain so it will fit
Gas outlet
• Replacement/spare oxygen, suction, medical air gauges are located on Level 1 in the Equipment Store.
Glucometer
• The curtain is bagged and a requisition completed by the cleaner for laundering.
• Located on Level 1 in Plastics Outpatients; and • Level 3 Eye Clinic.
• •
Located on the bench in ‘dirty utilities’ or clean up rooms These will be collected by the attendants.
• The mobile hoist located in the Level 1 Equipment Room.
• Spares are stored in the basement in the linen room for the cleaners to collect
Key cupboard
• Located roughly in the middle of each level on the back / south corridor (not available on Levels 2 and 4 until Stage 2)
• If you require a replacement key please contact the outpatients manager.
• All the full rubbish bags, medical waste containers should be placed in the disposal room for collection
ECG machine
• Cleaners are the only ones to remove curtain/s as you need a high ladder which will be located in the basement
• Linen will be collected from ‘dirty utilities’ on all levels
• The room has a bucket sink.

All consultation rooms have a plinth, desk, computer, phone, two visitor chairs, hook for clothing, nurse call, nurse assist, emergency call bells and microphone for dictation.
• Controlled drug cabinet keys will be held by the associate charge nurse manager.
Curtains
• Located in the Level 2 Resus Bay near Cardiac Outpatients.
