Introduction
Welcome to the Meade Clinical Centre loor directory and information guide.
Please use this guide as your quick reference to help you through the irst days, weeks and months of stage one opening as you get used to this building.
This guide will give you a directory of each level in the Meade Clinical Centre, pointing out key facilities and landmarks that you may need to ind, such as public lifts, staff lifts, entries and linen cupboards.
The Meade Clinical Centre is just that – our new clinical centre – and a lot of time and effort by many has gone into the set up and layout of each of the loors.
We have tried to give you some context by including directions to other buildings within the hospital on each loor plan.
While we may not have got everything right irst time, we have certainly tried. There may need to be some changes, but we ask all staff to not make them on an individual basis, but to feedback in the book at the reception desks.
You will notice that the colour theme in the guide per loor is the same as the colour theme of loors in the actual building.
Any urgent matters that need addressing will be decided by the Meade Clinical Centre charge nurse manager or outpatient manager, prior to the 90 day review period that a new build has. Building faults should be reported to associate charge nurse managers / charge nurse manager or outpatient manager immediately, including room name and room asset number located above the door, or documented in the book at reception for follow-up.
For the clinics, set up of areas have been standardised as much as possible, please do not add or change a set up, unless it has been discussed with the management team as there may be a reason as to why something has been done.
Use the alphabetical index at the back to help you easily reference what clinic or facility you’re after.
